"The Middle College x McNair Interclub was held at Matt Equinoa Park in Stockton on July 7th from 9-11AM. The event was open specifically to grizzlies from both Middle College Key Club and McNair Key Club, but the invitation was also extended to key clubber guests. At the event, directed and managed by Middle College Vice President Britney Le and McNair President Perri Perez, attendees first participated in a short spirit session that involved first learning a spirit chant or two from either of the two lovely spirit task coordinators Habeeb Khan and Ren Pham. After learning chants, two sides competed against one another, sorted by whether a person pertained to McNair’s or Middle College’s Key Club. After the spirit session, attendees proceeded to help clean up the park for an hour, before moving onto the more laidback, fundraiser portion of the event in which enough money was raised from pizza and beverages to ultimately squirt, soak, and dump water on the exec boards and advisors! Specifically, those who helped fundraiser got to use foam spray guns and shoot water at the advisors and executive boards, while dumping the ice cooler water on the president and Vice President was performed by myself and guest and Tokay Key Club President Gabriel Siazon as we had collected the most trash from the park during the session.
