"Middle College High School Key Club held this general meeting on September 12th, at Delta College’s West Forum, lasting from around 5:05-5:40PM. The meeting started as usual, with everyone participating in the Key Club pledge, followed by member reflections from the past couple of service events that our club provided for us. After that, the main part of the meeting commenced, in which President Kiara Flores and Secretary Kimberly Truong created a list of class representative nominees for the freshman, sophomore, junior, and seniors classes of MCHS. It was a very wholesome experience seeing just how many students decided to run for representative for their class, but it was even more special to see the amount of freshmen wanting to participate in the club. As a senior who is about to be checkin out, it’s comforting knowing that we did our part in sustaining the club during our time at MCHS, while additionally knowing that it will be in good hands after we leave high school. After all the nominations were taken and written down, the meeting ended after an open forum session, but many people stayed behind for a few minutes in order to turn in their payments and forms in order to attend the (at the time, upcoming), Airpo-RTC event!"
