"The Region 16 Airpo-RTC was held in Elk Grove on September 24th, from 9AM-3PM. When key clubbers initially arrived, we were all, after checking in of course, seated outside of the gymnasium we would eventually be entering for the start of RTC. It was very beautiful to see all the various interactions between key clubbers, with some talking amongst their home club peers, with people from other clubs within their division, or even with people from entirely different divisions! As previously stated, once the event got moving, all the attendees gathered in the gymnasium, sorted by divisions, and watched as all the lovely LTG’s put on a great introduction to RTC for us key clubbers. Afterwards, we moved into our workshop sessions with lunch falling in between the second and third workshop session. As for myself, I attended the editors/PRCs/historians, policy manual and club bylaws, and FRN plus spirit workshops! They were all executed greatly, and I am proud of everyone who led the workshops. After the workshop sessions ended, all the clubs, including my very own D27N division, gathered in separate areas for short DCM and spirit sessions to prepare and get hyper for the spirit session of RTC. Once that was completed, the stage was set for the oh so great RTC spirit sessions against all the other divisions in attendance. D27N did us proud, and we placed third place overall! The event ended shortly after this, but I would like to say that I’m super proud of that placement, and the sky is the limit for FRN!"
