Pediatric Trauma Program

The Kiwanis Cali-Nev-Ha Foundation founded the Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) in 1994. The mission was "to develop local projects, which will reduce the number of children in our District who are killed or injured by trauma."

Did you know that unintentional injury is the #1 killer of children age 14 and under? These include homicide, diseases, and suicide.

In order to prevent some of these incidents, the Foundation has partnered with 6 hospitals--Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland (1994), Loma Linda University Children's Hospital (1994), Rady Children's Hospital San Diego (1994), Children's Hospital Central California (2000), Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children (2003), and Renown Children's Hospital (2004). They provide first responder training, purchase pediatric medical equipment, and expand community outreach programs.

Donate to the Pediatric Trauma Program today! All donations go directly to helping with the purpose of the program. Most are made into grants to partnered hospitals and purchasing safety items!
