"MCHSKC’s was held at San Joaquin Delta College’s West Forum from 5:05-5:25PM. Per usual, to start off the meeting with the pledge salute, given by our very own Britney Le, MCHS’s recently elected vice president for the new Key Club term. Following this, key clubbers participated in an out of the box icebreaker created by the new term’s peace officers, Kobe Nguyen and Courtney Nguyen. The icebreaker was based around the Mandela effect, and it was a super fun and engaging way to open up the last meeting of the school year. Moving on from this activity, the newly elected president, Kiara Flores, moved onto old business. During old business, our new term secretary, Kimberly Truong, took time in order to give her secretary report, in which she discussed the Lodi Memorial Hospital Walk, April and May’s Friends of the Library, and Lodi Animal Shelter and Petco Adoption service events. After this, Kiara moved onto new business, which encompassed reflection from the past Pixie Woods service event, as well as club news pertaining to an end of the year Key Club banquet for Middle College High School and the accompanying interest form. After Kiara informed the rest of the members about the recently determined club goals for the next year and held an open forum, the meeting was adjourned within the time expectancy range, just a few minutes before 5:25PM."
