MCHSKC’S First General Meeting

Due to Middle College Key Club’s success at club rush, a large number of people attended our very first general meeting. The general meeting was held at Delta College’s West Forum from 5:05pm to 5:35pm. President Jamie Lynn Phan and Vice President Habeeb Khan greeted all the interested/current members as they entered the room. The attendees were introduced to the exclusive board, extended board, service projects committee, and our advisors. Our peace officers, Kimberly Truong and Adelyna Chathankone, started us off with a fun ice breaker which included attendees picking a number from a hat. The peace officers would call out a random number and the person who was chosen would have to introduce themselves to everyone. Vice President, Habeeb Khan, shouted, “HOW DO YOU FEEL?” at random to get current members to stand up and chant along. The officers’ enthusiasm pervaded the rest of the meeting. Throughout the meeting, we went over what was key club, how MCHSKC was formed, the various activities our division hosts, what was FRN, club news and division news. President Jamie Lynn Phan adjourned the meeting at 5:41. Then, there was a board meeting right after held at 5:35 to 6:15.
