Our annual Region Training Conference was held on September 25th at Rio Americano High School located in Sacramento from 9:00AM - 3:00PM. The attendees ranged from Divisions 7 North, 7 West, 7 South, 27 North, 27 South, 44 North, 44 West, and 44 South who are all from Region 16. RTC is one of our three biggest events, and it is an opportunity to meet other key clubbers from our region. Members and officers were required to pay $13 (on-time) registration donation or pay $15 (late) from their home club’s President. Attendees were encouraged to dress in a Key Club Division shirt, royal blue or Business Casual. Many members and officers came early to get registered by their home division and to help set up. Everyone from Region 16 had to enter the gymnasium for our opening session which consisted of icebreakers. A member or officer from each division was chosen to represent their division. Attendees could attend workshops where they could learn more about key club. During lunch, each division held a DCM session in which all members practiced chants for the spirit rally happening later on. After another workshop session, we ended RTC with our spirit rally. Although D27N did not win, many attendees would say this event was super fun and they cannot wait for FRN to happen this October.
