"The Lodi Memorial Health Foundation’s Walk for Health service event was held near the Adventist Health Lodi Memorial building, on 845 S. Fairmont Ave. in Lodi on May 7th. The event lasted from around 7-11AM. Key clubbers who signed up for the event got to choose between three different stations prior to attending the service event. The three stations consisted of course marshal, poker/water station, and face painting. For the first two options, a car was required of attendees in order to select the station. The face painting station did not require a vehicle, and also did not require participants to be extremely experienced with face painting, as long as they were able to draw things that would make the children smile and feel contented. Going further in detail about the three stations, the role of a course marshal at the event was to stand at various points along the course, such as a corner of a street, and direct bystanders away from the course in order to have no interference for the participants in the event itself. The role of a poker/water station helper was one in which they essentially aided the stations in any way they could. Lastly, face painting helpers are pretty self explanatory, as their role was to provide wonderful, but not necessarily masterful face artwork onto the faces of children participating at the event. Overall, the event was enjoyed by the key clubbers who went, despite the fact that this event did start at the early bird hours of the day."
