The Festa Italia service event was held at the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds on June 12th from 9:30AM-5PM. At the event, which was open to both D27N grizzlies and D27S koi fish, there were multiple tasks that needed to be done as well as multiple shifts throughout the day. The six tasks were boss of the sauce, festa merchandise, food court, green room, and general tasks. As previously stated, most tasks, with the exception of boss of the sauce, followed the same shift pattern as follows: 9:30AM-12:00PM, 12:00-2:30PM, and 2:30-5:30PM (boss of the sauce did not last the entirety of the event and therefore followed its own shift pattern of 9:30AM-12:00PM and 12:00-3:30PM). All of the various tasks encompassed either helping directly or indirectly with expressing, showcasing, and possibly introducing Italy’s culture to those who attend the event itself. The event itself had various different aspects of Italian culture, including some of its contributions to the vehicle industry, cultural dances, and galleries, amongst many more!
