Ecosia Search Engine

For this month’s service projects, members were able to earn service hours by using a search engine rather than platforms like Google or Safari. The Ecosia Search Engine must be downloaded or added to Chrome by members, in order to gain service hours. Every search would result in the planting of one tree. Members who use Ecosia’s Search Engine contribute to the planting of trees all around the world. Every 500 searches would equal up to one hour of service. There is a maximum of 10 hours for each member. Members and officers are urged to participate in this at-home service project as it provides convenient service hours and it’s an easy way to help the world.
