Conclave and January DCM

January 30th, 2022

The Conclave and January DCM occurred on January 30th as it was held at St. Mary’s High School. This event was from 12:00 to 2:30PM and there was an option to go in person or watch from zoom. The event started off with D27N’s LTG, Hailey Phan, and our sister division, D27S’s Kirsten De Jesus as they greeted guests. The January DCM first occurred which included who was in the Division Judging Committee, monthly recognition, and quarterly awards. For quarterly awards, Middle College was able to obtain first place following Health Careers Academy and Benjamin Holt. After the DCM portion, key clubbers were getting ready to prepare speeches from LTG’s elects, Jamie Lynn Phan and Angelika Irada. Both elects performed admirably in their speeches and responded well to caucus questions! After hearing their amazing speeches and reading their literacies, both elects became the new LTG for the 2022-2023 term. Key clubbers cannot wait to see what both elects have in store for their clubs and know they will do an incredible job. Towards the end of Conclave, LTG’s Hailey Phan and Kirsten De Jesus gave gifts to their elects. A mini gift haul occurred and attendees had a great time watching.
