For the month of November, Middle College, Bear Creek, and Cesar Chavez clubs gathered together to attend a short and sweet interclub with each other via Zoom. This event occurred on November 21st, 2020, from 5 PM to 6 PM. During this event, the presidents of each club first opened with a welcome statement before splitting all attendees into the groups that they signed up for. Once everyone was assigned to their desired Breakout Room, the rounds of the game Among Us commenced! This interclub really helped members of each club interact and bond. The objective of the Among Us game had a concept similar to the structure of Mafia: during the game, each player was assigned a role of either a Crewmate or Impostor. The setting took place on a shuttle/spaceship in space. As a Crewmate, your duty was to complete your assigned task in managing the shuttle/spaceship, stay alive from the Impostor(s), and work with other Crewmates in identifying the Impostor(s) of the ship. The role of the Impostor was to attack and sabotage Crewmates whilst concealing their true role. In my breakout room, it was filled with laughter as my co-members and I tried identifying the Impostor. This went on for about an hour, before the conclusion of the event took place. Overall, it was a great way for members to unwind and meet members from our D27N sister-clubs. Be sure to attend the next interclass available to get good laughs and meet new friends!
